Photography as a career has taken me to many places and has made me do a lot of things I thought I would never do. I started out in television in 2003 as a production assistant and art coordinator for an ESPN reality show called The Wild Rules. After graduating from San Diego State University and not wanting to work a 9-5, I moved back home to Northern California to work as a staff photojournalist for my hometown newspaper Paradise Post. Always on the move and forever exploring, I spent the next 6 years freelancing as a photographer and writer working on personal projects which were probably some of the most fun and free-spirited years of my life. I finally rounded it out with a year as a corporate shooter with Moosejaw here in Michigan and it's kinda funny to look back at it all.
In todays visual realm you have to be well-rounded. I still have a lot to learn and that's what makes it fun and exciting. Dabbling in everything is just the way I like it! Here are some recent images from the 2013 summer catalog.
