Showing Paradise / by Brett Holman

While I wait on a few job opportunities, I'm taking Liz around where I grew up in Paradise, California. It's fun to show her all of the local spots that I have memories from. Dean Road was always one of those places. When we were kids we would jump off a local rock known as "The Nose" into the West Branch of the Feather River. It was always fun to ride the flumes on a boogie board or just walk the long catwalks. It's a cool experience to be able to appreciate the town you grew up in after spending so much time away from it.
