American Vagabonds / by Brett Holman

As Liz and I continue to travel throughout California we run into unique American vagabonds who have been living the travel lifestyle for decades. It's always great to share stories about how we began living the lifestyle of less possessions and more experiences. Kevin lived out of a backpack for ten years walking throughout California and Nevada. Most recently he just bought a van to live out of. "It's not traveling, it's a lifestyle," he says. The van has been a bit of a transition for him. He went on to tell us that living out of a backpack is much easier than a car because it's less to worry about. "I have all this crap now."
