After a couple months of scouring the U.S. for the best place to call home, I've made some decisions on what I'm looking for. My call to the ocean has never been stronger than it is right now. I've added a lot of perspective to my life over the last two years and it doesn't surprise me that I've "ended up" back in California. Although freelancing is a novel idea in theory, in practice it brings up many long-term problems that I no longer have the patience for. I've realized that I will definitely be looking for full-time work in the action sport/ outdoor industry on a marketing team that generates quality visual content that is authentic and true to its core audience. Working "in-house" offers a lot of benefits and it really is the best of both worlds. I get to work in a relatable field and stay passionate about my creative self expression on my own time. At the moment I'm looking at job opportunities from San Francisco to San Diego. It's an exciting time because I'm no longer wondering about living in other places. I've come home and I couldn't be happier.
