I'm happy to report that it's been almost a year since my shoulder surgery. Dealing with and overcoming an injury has been a huge challenge for me over the last three years. After a motorcycle crash in 2011, I was finally able to have surgery last year. A chronic dislocating shoulder due to a torn labrum kept me from participating in a lot of activities that I enjoy. I was still able to continue on with photography but in a slightly less-aggressive manner. It was a particularly long year of getting all the "ducks in a row" so that I can get back to the lifestyle that revolves around a healthy body. There's nothing better than being healthy again and still having the desire to get out there and go for it. I can't wait get back on the motorcycle again.
